We are excited to return to Albania this week as we continue to collaborate on advancing the Balkans Early Warning System (EWS) project, sponsored by the United States Forest Service. Today’s training focused on operations and included a review of the DisasterAWARE hazard-specific operations checklists.

Participating partners included Albania’s National Civil Protection Agency (NCPA), Montenegro’s PRS, and additional representatives from Albania’s disaster management stakeholders.

We are looking forward to continuing this partnership as we work together towards a more resilient Balkans and a #SaferWorld.
